P.S. I Love You – Sometimes There's Only One Thing Left To Say is a 2007 romantic movie, directed by Richard LaGravenese, and based on the namesake romance by Cecelia Ahern.

The film stars Hilary Swank as Holly and Gerard Butler as Gerry.

This is the story of Holly and Gerry, a young couple who's happy until he gets sick and dies. Holly, just twenty-nine, finds herself widow and with an empty space in her life. She's angry 'cause she feels betrayed by Gerry, the one who had promised to be with her for the rest of his life. But Gerry didn't forget his promise and he finds out the way to give her ten letters in accurate dates, with messages who can help her to continues her life without him, at the end of each letter he doesn't forget to rembember to her a thing: P.S. I love you!

Day by day Holly learns that she has to move on even without the love of her life.

Il film è uscito nella sale cinematografiche italiane il 1º febbraio 2008.

Il film ha come protagonisti Hilary Swank nel ruolo di Holly e Gerard Butler in quello di Gerry.

È la storia di Holly e Gerry, una coppia giovane e felice fino a quando improvvisamente Gerry si ammala e muore. Holly, ancora ventinovenne, si ritrova già vedova e con un senso di vuoto nella sua vita. È arrabbiata perché si sente tradita da Gerry, proprio lui che le aveva promesso di starle accanto per il resto della sua esistenza. Ma Gerry non ha dimenticato la promessa fatta mentre era in vita e trova il modo di farle avere una lettera in date ben precise, con un messaggio che le possa essere d'aiuto per ritornare a vivere anche senza di lui e alla fine di ogni messaggio non dimentica mai di ricordarle una cosa: P.S. I love you! Pian piano Holly impara che deve continuare a vivere anche senza Gerry, che rimarrà per sempre nel suo cuore.
